Protect your engine and gearbox from microscopic ferrous and aluminum particles with the Prima Magnetic Engine Oil & Gearbox Drain Plug Kit. While stock screens only catch large debris, this 3-piece kit adds rare-earth magnets to your key fluid drain ports to continuously trap fine metal particles between service cycles. 

 Kit includes:

• Magnetic engine oil drain bolt — M12 x 1.50mm, embedded neodymium magnet tip
• Magnetic engine oil filter screen cap assembly — M30 x 1.50mm, 39mm OD cap / 17mm hex
• Magnetic gearbox oil drain bolt — M8 x 1.25mm, flanged head

Mechanic's warning: Scooter crankcases and rear transaxle housings are cast from soft aluminum. Always thread every bolt in by hand for 3–4 full rotations before using tools to avoid cross-threading. Tighten to factory specs: M8 gear bolt 6–8 ft-lbs / M12 oil bolt 8–10 ft-lbs. Check your service manual.

Maintenance tip: Clean the magnetic tip with a clean rag and parts cleaner at every oil change interval.
