The Arai Helmets Signet-X in Small size offers a tailored fit for riders with a narrow head and more pronounced forehead, combining advanced design and premium materials for optimal safety and comfort. Its long oval shape is crafted by increasing the front-to-back space of the EPS liner while reducing side-to-side width, ensuring a snug yet comfortable fit that enhances overall helmet stability. The helmet’s shell features a Peripherally Belted - Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC) design, which integrates multiple materials and techniques to deliver excellent durability and performance at an affordable price point.
Equipped with the Variable Axis System (VAS) shield mechanism, the Signet-X allows for easy, intuitive shield operation with a larger latch that ensures the shield stays securely closed. The system also lowers the shield's pivot point by an average of 24 mm, creating a smoother surface around the temple area to better absorb impact energy and improve aerodynamics. The VAS shield system includes the VAS-Max Vision (MV) shield, compatible with the VAS-MV Pinlock® lens, and comes with a Pinlock® 120 MaxVision™ insert for enhanced fog prevention during rides.
Ventilation is optimized with QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts, providing excellent airflow even when the front shutter on the top duct is closed; a side vent continues to serve as an exhaust, maintaining consistent cooling and airflow management. The helmet’s interior features FCS® cheek pads with a contoured shape, layered foam densities, and a foam “spring” support, cradling the face while reducing wind noise for a quieter ride. The odor-resistant liner material helps prevent bacteria buildup, keeping the helmet fresher over time. For added convenience, a water-repellent, removable ES chin cover enhances the helmet’s egg-shaped profile and promotes increased exhaust from the mouth area, contributing to improved ventilation during rides.
