The DRAG SPECIALTIES SHOCKS Premium Ride-Height Adjustable shocks are designed for riders seeking enhanced comfort and performance. Featuring nitrogen-charged steel monotube damper bodies, these shocks provide consistent damping and durability. The hard chrome-plated shafts ensure smooth operation and resistance to wear, extending the lifespan of the shocks. Dual-rate progressive wound springs contribute to a smooth, comfortable ride by adapting to various riding conditions and loads. The adjustable spring preload allows customization of the suspension setup to suit rider preferences and riding styles, while ride-height adjustability of up to 1/2 inch enables fine-tuning of ground clearance and handling characteristics. These shocks are black with black springs and damper bodies, complemented by black end caps and eyelets for a sleek, unified appearance. They are designed to mount with existing hardware, simplifying installation on compatible models. Please note that shocks shorter than OEM length may reduce travel, potentially affecting ride quality and handling. Lowering the motorcycle can also decrease ground and cornering clearance, so confirm wheel travel and clearance to avoid contact issues with components such as the swingarm, exhaust, chain or belt guard, and tires before installation. These shocks are not compatible with OE upper shock mount covers and are not suitable for use with rear lowering kits. Custom mounting may be required for models with OEM-style offset mount shocks, and model-specific adjustments should be considered to ensure optimal performance.
